The Ducati Diavel is the second cruiser motorcycle from Ducati, after the Indiana of 1986–1990. The 2011 model year Diavel debuted in November 2010 at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan.

The Ducati Diavel has been the Italian two-wheeler maker’s flagship sports touring motorcycle since its introduction 2011. The most striking part of the motorcycle is its overall design which in its entirety gives the motorcycle a squat and beefy stance, further enhancing the cruiser nature of the motorcycle.

The Diavel is powered by a liquid cooled 1198cc Testastretta engine that produces 162bhp/130Nm of torque. It has been mated to a six-speed sequential box which has been fitted with a wet hydraulic multi-plate slipper clutch. It is underpinned by a trellis frame and a single side swingarm.

Ducati also sells a version of the Diavel called the carbon. As the name suggest, the carbon version has many of the components made with carbon-fibre but has the same overall design and feature list as the standard Diavel.
